Rosters are collected to provide college coaches with a virtual and paper coaches book at a particular event. Although you may roster through an event partner's registration system such as LeagueApps, GOTSports, Team Sports Info, etc. in order to be a part of the coaches book you will need roster with the EventBeacon Rostering Tool.
What Does EventBeacon Do?
- We leverage SportsRecruits to provide athlete data to college coaches at the event.
- EventBeacon can be used on the EventBeacon mobile app or through our paper coaches' books
- Both resources draw athlete information directly from SportsRecruits, ensuring that coaches have access to relevant details about all athletes competing in the event.
- We only pull data for athletes participating in the specific event, rather than all athletes on the SportsRecruits platform, optimizing the information available to coaches.
Submitting Your Roster
- When you submit your roster for an event, you inform our system that each of your athletes is competing in this event.
- This action enables our system to display their information to college coaches who are recruiting at the event.
- If you've previously submitted a roster for a different event, that's fantastic! It means your athletes already have profiles set up and ready to go.
- You still need to submit a roster for every event, even if you have previously submitted a roster for a past event
Streamlined Profile Setup
- For future events, when you submit your roster, we'll link your athletes' existing SportsRecruits profiles to those events.
- This eliminates the need for them to create brand new profiles from scratch.
- By seamlessly connecting existing profiles to upcoming events, we ensure that coaches have access to accurate and up-to-date information about your athletes.
By leveraging the EventBeacon Rostering Tool, event operators are able to efficiently provide athlete information to college coaches attending the event. Through both physical resources and the EventBeacon app, coaches have access to relevant data about participating athletes, enhancing the recruiting process for all involved parties.
