College coaches have full access to EventBeacon free of charge, providing access to recruiting profiles of student-athletes attending recruiting events across the country. This information allows coaches to effectively evaluate players on-site at events, and have access to any relevant information that they need to know about a player.
EventBeacon aims to provide coaches with as much information about a player as possible while evaluating them, whether before, during, or after an event. In order to make sure the player they are recruiting is available, coaches can easily find the player they are interested in and see whether or not they have already committed to a school.
To see if a player has committed, find the player you wish to evaluate in a specific event and from there you are able to see quick facts about that student-athlete. Beneath the athlete’s team name, you will see a blue “Committed” badge followed by their school.
The "Committed" badge only appears for athletes who have elected to announce their committed status on the SportsRecruits platform and is not a required section of their profiles.
To learn more about the information highlighted on our student-athletes profile, check out our article, “Player Profiles”.
Why EventBeacon?
EventBeacon provides a superior event experience for both coaches and event administrators alike, while also empowering student-athletes to take control of their recruiting experience. With access to all relevant student-athlete recruiting information in the app, coaches are able to efficiently and effectively evaluate players on-site. Similarly, event administrators are able to utilize the software to generate a coaches book in seconds, while also being able to make any roster or event changes immediately visible to coaches. The more efficient the coach’s experience, the more exposure for athletes, and the more exposure for athletes, the more successful an event. Available in the app store today!
