The EventBeacon App is a sideline evaluation tool for college coaches to use on site at recruiting events. In addition to having access to the recruiting profiles of every student-athlete in attendance, coaches are able to utilize several different evaluation tools to effectively evaluate their target players. The EventBeacon App is free for all college coaches.

The EventBeacon App was created to streamline the recruiting process for coaches while on-site at events so that they can evaluate players more effectively. For this reason, the EventBeacon App is only available on your smartphone or tablet.

However, all athlete information is pulled from student-athletes' SportsRecruits profiles. This means that if you wish to view a player again from a desktop computer, you are able to log in to SportsRecruits and have access to the exact same information. If you choose to “favorite” a player in the EventBeacon app, that will transfer over to your SportsRecruits profile, allowing you to keep all of your target recruits together in one place.

The SportsRecruits platform also features our newest EventBeacon product, EventBeacon On Demand.  EventBeacon On Demand is a video evaluation tool where you can watch film from games after an event with all the roster information next to the video.  This tool allows you to continue to evaluate when the event is over from the comfort of your own home.

Do I Need to be at the Event to Access EventBeacon?

You do not need to be at an event to access the EventBeacon App. While the platform allows you to be more efficient at events, we encourage you to utilize our evaluation tools during and after events. Additionally, EventBeacon contains information on event rosters and logistics, which can be used prior to events in order to plan which games you want to attend.

You can also access past game footage on EventBeacon On Demand. EventBeacon On Demand can be found in your SportsRecruits account and will give you access to games and rosters from events powered by the EventBeacon App.
