In addition to offering you full access to player recruiting profiles and evaluation tools, EventBeacon allows you to build your own list of “favorite” recruits that you are interested in watching within the app. Utilizing this tool will help you organize what student-athletes you will continue to target and follow throughout your recruiting process.

To unfavorite and athlete, you can either de-select the heart shaped icon or skip the athlete. By performing either action, you are removing them from your favorites list, which will then update on both EventBeacon and SportsRecruits. To skip an athlete, follow these simple steps:

1. Log in to EventBeacon
2. Navigate to the player profile of your choice (to learn how to find a player’s profile, click here)
3. Click the top right “eye” icon

Once you have clicked the “eye” icon, the “heart” icon should turn white, and the “eye” icon will appear orange. That player will now be removed from your list of favorite athletes. That information will update throughout the app once the page is refreshed, and your list will be adjusted accordingly for each individual event.

To add that athlete back to your favorites list, simply search for the athletes profile and click the “heart icon”. To learn more about how to access  your list of favorite and interested athletes, check out our article, “Viewing Your List of Favorited and Interested Athletes”.
