EventBeacon automatically loads athlete data to your device whenever you open an event — so by the time you're ready to start evaluating, the information you need is already there. No extra steps required. (You will need an internet connection the first time you open an event to get that initial sync.)
 

Once that data is on your device, you can view athlete profiles, take notes, add evaluations, and more — even if you lose your wifi or cell signal on-site.

What happens when you're offline?

You can still recruit in the app while offline. Any notes, evaluations, followed athletes, and game assignments you make won't sync with the rest of your coaching staff until your internet connection comes back — once you're reconnected, everything will update automatically.

Keeping your data up to date

When you're online, EventBeacon automatically refreshes athlete data every 3 hours and event information (games, schedules, divisions, and fields) every 15–30 minutes. If you need the latest data right away, just pull to refresh while connected and everything will update immediately.
