Within the EventBeacon Admin System, event directors can easily manage all of the data pertaining to their events. Event Directors can export data from the Admin System to be used for purposes outside EventBeacon. From the Athletes tab, directors can generate a CSV of athlete data in addition to the formatted Coaches Books.

How to Export a CSV of Athlete Information:

1. Login to the EventBeacon Admin System (EBAS)

2. Click into the event for which you are trying to export data
3. Click the Export button in the top righthand corner
4. Select Athlete List from the dropdown

5. When the export is ready, it will be available for the download in the Exports tab of your account

What is the difference between the Coaches Book and the Athlete List?

The main difference between the Coaches Book and the Athlete List is that the Coaches Book is a PDF file, whereas the Athlete List is a CSV file.

The Coaches Book generates a formatted PDF pamphlet grouped by team. It includes a game schedule, table of contents, and one-page roster for each individual team. 

The Athlete List generates a CSV of raw data about each athlete that can then be imported to a 3rd party system and easily manipulated to organize the information.

It is highly recommended that Event Directors not share the Athlete List with anyone external to their organization in order to protect the privacy of the athlete's data. The Coaches Book is the only file type that is to be shared with college coaches.

What information is included on the Athlete List export?

The Athlete List will be generated as a CSV file. The CSV will include information about any athlete that appears in the Athletes tab of your event. Each athlete will exist as a unique row on the spreadsheet. The following data will be included for each athlete: 

1. Athlete First Name

2. Athlete Last Name
3. Email Address
4. Phone Number
5. Graduation Year
6. Event Team Name
7. Event Jersey Number
8. Hometown City
9. Hometown State
10. GPA
11. SAT Score
12. ACT Score
13. Club Name
14. High School Name
15. Position
16. SportsRecruits Profile URL

If athletes are missing data in particular columns of the spreadsheet, that simply means that those pieces of information were neither imported by the event director nor added to the athlete's profile by the athlete directly.
