EventBeacon allows Event Administrators to have complete control over what appears to coaches during their event. Our platform gives users the ability to make any roster changes before or during an event, ensuring that coaches are receiving the most accurate and up-to-date information while evaluating student-athletes.

The “Athletes” tab is the main landing page when you click into your event. Here you will see every student-athlete on the roster, imported by our team at SportsRecruits. Once uploaded, you will have full control over any changes to player information, which will be immediately visible to coaches through the EventBeacon app. 

Filtering Athletes

Our filter tools make finding athletes incredibly easy. To search for a specific player, you can use the search bar or “Filters” drop down menu to filter by graduation year, position, or team, located right above the “Grad Year” and “Email” columns. You are also able to manually flip through each page of athletes by clicking the blue arrows to the left of the search bar.

Editing Athlete Information

Student-athlete information (Team, Jersey, Position) can be edited so that you can stay on top of any last-minute changes that happen before or on-site at an event. These edits will be visible to coaches on the EventBeacon app, keeping them in the loop. To do this, click the blue gear icon to the right of the player you want to edit and select “Edit Info”.

There will be some scenarios where data does not need to be edited, but removed entirely. Instead of manually removing data from hundreds of athletes, you are able to select multiple athletes at a time and erase the data for that column by clicking the white box to the left of each athletes’ name. Once you have selected the correct athletes, you can choose to remove their team, jersey, and/or position.

Adding Athletes

In addition to editing, you are able to manually add student-athletes to an event roster. To do so, click the blue “Add New” drop down menu in the upper right corner of the dashboard and select “Add Athlete”. This will take you to a form where you can fill out the athlete’s information, as shown below:
